Fred M. Girten, Jr., age 86 of Cincinnati died Aug. 10, 2017. Born June 20, 1931 to parents Fred and Goldie (nee Sellers) Girten. Owner, Mechanical Systems Service for 40 years, Reds fan, and lover of Mercedes-Benz and Big Band music. Survived by his wife Grace and his three children Carla (Brian Voegele) Girten; Amy (Kim Lascola) Girten; Chris (Diana) Girten; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two step-children T. Lynn (Cheryl) Pierce and Debrah Pierce. Preceded in death by his parents and step-child Tammie Brown. Memorial service to be held in the chapel at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd.
