Gail S. (Hodge) Brock
January 28, 1956 — June 25, 2014
Gail S. Brock, 58 of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and attended Grand Center Baptist Church. Mrs. Brock enjoyed shopping, cleaning, scrapbooking, going to the lake and Alabama football. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, drinking coffee and Coke, and loved her dog, "Lil' Bit". She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Silas Burnett Brock, her father Clarence Hodge Jr., stepfather Edgar Wethington, and her brothers Jack Hodge, James Hodge, Bruce Hodge and Dave Hodge.
She is survived by her daughter Paulette Szymanski of Cincinnati, OH; son Brandon (Anna) Gallagher of Knoxville, TN; mother Wanda Parker Wethington; grandchildren Claudia Szymanski of Cincinnati, OH and Cadence Gallagher of Knoxville, TN; sisters Karen (Dan) Bruns of Harrison, OH, Loretta (Stan) Scott of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, Greta (Kari) Gordon of Knoxville, TN Robin (Greg) Brooksbank and Roberta (Mark) Wagers both of Cincinnati, OH; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 11AM at Advantage Funeral Home, 1724 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga TN 37404 with Rev. Warren Scott officiating.
