Gary Hoskins
April 27, 1939 — August 3, 2005
Gary "Reggie" Hoskins, age 66 of Fairfield went to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at his residence. He was born April 27, 1939 in Hamilton, the son of John Hoskins and Virgie Blake-Hoskins. Reggie was a member of Eagles # 3986, Monkeys Mutual Aid Society #1 and the Ross Avenue Church of God. He enjoyed softball, NASCAR, working on cars, and most importantly spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his partner of 10 years, Charlene Taylor; children, Kim Hoskins, Gary R. Hoskins, and Justin Taylor; grandchildren, Heather Hoskins-Helton and Jacob Hoskins; and great-grandchild Donny Ellis, III. Gary was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Fern Richardson; and brother, Leon Hoskins.
Funeral services will be 12 noon, Friday August 5, 2005 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Dr. Dale French officiating. Visitation will also be Friday from 10 a.m. - until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to VITAS Hospice, 11500 N. Lake Dr. Cinti, OH 45249.
