Gean A Harris
October 12, 1931 — July 14, 2009
Age 77 of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Hospice of Hamilton after a courageous battle with acute leukemia. He was born October 12, 1931 in Cleveland, VA. On August 16, 1952 Gean married Bernice Lamm at the First Baptist Church of Hamilton. He was retired after a 40 year career at Fernald and was a member of the Rolling Hills Baptist Church.
Gean leaves behind his sons, Douglas Harris of Hamilton and Gregory Harris of Fairfield; sisters, Madeline Miles of Georgia, Pat Ackerman of Indiana, and Sue (Chet) Wright of Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his loving wife of 52 years, Bernice Harris. Gean was dearly loved by family members and friends and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. - until time of service (12 Noon), Saturday, July 18, 2009 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Pastor Danny Rollins officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Rolling Hills Baptist Church, 5742 Pleasant Ave., Fairfield, OH 45014.
