NEDELLA

George Victor, age 81 of Fairfield passed away on October 15, 2013 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born on March 18, 1932 in Belle Fourche, SD to George and Mathilda Nedella. George married Patty Lou Cox on November 11, 1955 in Pascagoula, MS; to this union were born, Gregory L. (Audrey) Nedella, Georgette V. (Homer) Baker, Timothy S. Nedella, and Patsy S. Bumgardner. He is the devoted grandfather of Amy (Robert) Lapiccirella, Angela (Matt) Vogelsang, Joseph (Susanne Alampi) Baker, Zachary (Robine) Baker, Holly Baker, Melissa Nedella, Jennifer (Greg) Thorpe, and Trisha Jean Bumgardner; dear great grandfather of 9; much loved brother of Matt (Ester) Nedella, Tony (Faye) Nedella, Jerry (Mary) Nedella, and Eva (James) Dulany; many nieces, nephews, and a host of caring friends from the Waterford.

George was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leonard and John Nedella; sisters, Gussie Eide, Rosie Keil, Susie Levesque, and Emma Nedella; and devoted in laws, Lloyd and Maude Cox.

George served his country as an Airman First Class in the Air Force from 1952-1961. Full military Honors will be presented at the graveside.

Visitation will be Saturday October 19, 2013 from 10-11 a.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Lapiccirella officiating.
