George Radel
November 5, 1946 — December 5, 2006
Age 60 of Liberty Township, OH, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, December 5, 2006. He was born November 5, 1946 in San Jose, CA, the son of Ernest and Beulah (Clark) Radel. On August 2, 1968 George married Angelia Alexander in Portsmouth, VA. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1965 to 1969.
George was always a people person. His outgoing nature and hugging ability was loved by all he knew. George's personality would allow him to light up any room and any negative spirit he would come in contact with. He never met a stranger and will be deeply missed.
George Radel is survived by his loving wife, Angie; his mother, Bea; son, Anthony R. "Tony" Radel; brothers, Robert Radel and Carl Radel; grandchildren, Vincent, Anthony J., Aaron J., Rachel, Anthony R. and Joshua; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest; and son, Andrew T. Radel.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. - until time of service (4 p.m.), Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.
