Gerald A. "Jerry" Osterbrock

OSTERBROCK, Gerald A. (Jerry), age 85, of Colerain Township passed away on October 21, 2015. He was born on December 6, 1929 in Cincinnati to Louis and Thelma (nee Jaspers) Osterbrock. Gerald served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, after his time in the U.S. Army, he married Jane Stonefield who preceded him in death on June 4, 2010. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Jerry was employed by Cincinnati Milacron as the Human Resource Manager and later at the Council on Aging. Family and friends remember him for his giving and caring spirit, always there for others. Gerald is survived by his loving children, Linda (Robert) Low, Gerald (Claire) Osterbrock, Greg (Patty) Osterbrock and Gary (Kelly) Osterbrock; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. He is also survived by sisters, Joyce Lehn and Karen Goodin; and brother Louis (Butch) Osterbrock. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Mitzi Rosfelder and Wanda Tomlinson; and brother, Howard Osterbrock. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
