Geraldine Fender, 91, of Hamilton, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 9, 2022, at Westover Retirement Community. She was born August 28,1930 to the late Orvil and Anna Sandlin in Fayette County, Indiana. On October 4, 1948, in Hillsboro, Ohio she married Carey Fender who preceded her in death on July 25, 1997. Over the years she enjoyed making seasonal pottery, working on puzzles, and reading all types of books.

She is survived by her children, Carey (Anne) Fender, Charlotte (Thomas) Tierney, Linda Fender, David (John) Fender; two siblings, Winston (Thresa) Sandlin, Melvin (Nancy) Sandlin; grandchildren, Darlene Whitaker, Scott (Kelly) Creager, Heather (Steven) Kleiner, and Carrie Ortiz; eleven great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson John, great-grandson John Jr., siblings Betty Bradley, and Danny (Linda) Sandlin.

Visitation for Geraldine will be at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH, on Friday February 18, 2022, from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Steve Kleiner officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Hospice of Cincinnati (www.hospiceofcincinnati.org)
