Gladys V. (Stone) Hill

Gladys V. Hill passed peacefully at home January 30, 2022. She was born in Oneida, Tennessee on January 4, 1938. Gladys was a member at Hamilton Christian Center. She loved God and her family with all of her heart. Gladys loved passing time reading books and spending as much time as she could with her family and friends. One of her greatest joys was celebrating the holidays with her loved ones.  She loved being Mimi and Grandma to her 15 Grandchildren, 31 Great-Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She often said her children were her world. Gladys married the love of her life James A. Hill on February 14, 1982.  Gladys is proceeded in death by both parents, 13 Brothers and sisters, her husband James A. Hill and Ex-husband Crawford Strunk. As well as her daughters Louise Miller and Debi Hill, her 3 sons Wayne Strunk, Jeff and Rick Hill and her son-in-law Floyd McQueen.  She is survived by two sons Troy (Christy) St. Michael, James (Deb) Hill and one daughter Beth (Floyd) McQueen.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. - until time of service (11:30 a.m.), Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Pastor Johnny Wade Sloan officiating.  Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
