Glenda M. Helton (McGuire, Judy, Harris), age 62 of Hamilton passed away suddenly on April 21, 2015. She was born on April 10, 1953, the daughter of Irvin and Alice Helton. Glenda is the beloved mother of, Christopher McGuire, Brian McGuire (Sarah), and her daughter Jessica Carter (Gabe). She is also survived by her mother, Alice Helton; brother, Randall Lee Gault; sisters, Mary Primavera and Tracy Popejoy; her companion, Mitch Keith; and many friends and other family members. Glenda graduated from Edgewood High School in 1970, and quickly began working as a talented singer. She made many records and traveled nationally when she was the lead singer and front person for The Three of Us. Glenda met many celebrities who enjoyed her gifted voice. She loved music throughout all of her life, and also was a gifted piano player. Glenda later worked in various medical settings as a nurse aide where her kind spirit brought much joy to residents. Glenda was also an avid seamstress whose beautiful items delighted her family and friends. Perhaps most of all, she loved to be working in her many gardens and always was reading a book. Glenda enjoyed playing cards with her friends, and Scrabble with her children. Glenda was preceded in death by her father, Irvin Helton; her “Mom Hazel” Frost; brother, Frank Primavera III; as well as many aunts, uncles, and friends. There will be a celebration of Glenda's life for her close family and friends. Per her wishes, there will be no public visitation or service.
