Glenn Burdell, age 96, of Colerain Twp. passed away on July 1, 2018 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born on July 1, 1922 in Morroco, IN, the youngest child born to the late Maynard and Lena (nee Wiltfang) Wright. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Opal (Harley) Brown, Agnes (Paul) Baldwin; nephews, Richard and Ronald Baldwin; and great niece, Michelle (nee Baldwin) Bruckman.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Goldie (nee Brown); his only child, Lyn (Lou) Vaccariello ; step children, Ann (Len) Orme, Gene (Francelle) Seitz; Granddaughter, Taylor Ann Vaccariello, whom he considered the sunshine of his life; special niece, Peggy (Mike) Arnold, he thought of her as a daughter and her family his family. Glenn is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

He served his country during WW II in the Army. He had three passions in his life; his family, NASCAR, and Chocolate.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 11000 Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati, 45249.
