Gloria C. Heath
May 3, 1922 — June 15, 2004
Gloria C. (Calvi) Heath, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday June 15, 2004 at Mercy Fransican at Schroder. She was born May 3, 1922 in Rutland, VT, the daughter of James and Mary (DeBernardi) Calvi. On June 29, 1942 she married F. Stanley Heath in Windsor, VT. They and their three sons relocated to Lebanon, OH in 1955.
Subsequent to her attaining both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from Miami University, she taught the 3rd grade at Springboro (Ohio) Elementary for 18 years. She and her husband, then retired in 1980 to Palm Harbor, FL.
She is survived by her sons, Richard (Sheryl) Heath of Tigard, OR, David (Jolene) Heath of Hamilton, and Daniel (Kristi) Heath of Pompano Beach, FL; sisters, Nellian Smith of San Diego, CA and Lillian Kupar of Tunkhannock, PA; and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in August of 1989; her parents; and sisters, Sarah, Ileen, and Mary.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Monday July 5, 2004 at Curlew Memory Gardens, Palm Harbor, FL and July 20, 2004 at Mercy Fransican at Schroder Chapel, Hamilton, OH. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to donor's choice. The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com.
