Gloria Jean Rednour

Died Monday, March 11, 2013 surrounded by her large, loving family. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 31, 1940 to Eldon and Mary (McCormick) Phillips. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 52 years, Gary, children Sharon (Gary) Sheets, Michael Rednour, Kevin (Amy) Rednour, Elizabeth (Jeff) Thomas, Missy (Tod) Hosmer, Debbie Rednour and Brian (Christen) Rednour. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Doug (Tara) Sheets, Lynsey Sheets (Scott Pun), Jacob Denney, Jessica Miller, Ben and Cara Hosmer, Emma and Abbey Rednour, and Micah, Madelyn and Malea Rednour, her "babies" and the loves of her life.

She is also survived by brothers Eldon (Christine) Phillips, Jr., Gerald (Barbara) Phillips, Ronald (Virgie) Phillips, Dennis Phillips, Dean (Donna) Phillips, and sister Sandy (John) Roberts and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary Ellen Anglin, a brother Darryl Phillips, sister-in-law Sharon Phillips, and a niece Stephanie Anglin.

Gloria loved to crochet and made many beautiful afghans for her family. She also loved her flowers in the yard and cooking large meals for her family. But most of all, she loved her family. Her grandchildren were the lights in her life and "Mam" always had a cookie or some other treats for them when they came to visit her. She was also Mom and Mam to countless other kids through the years, friends of her kids and grandkids. The world has lost a beautiful person; she will be forever in our hearts and forever missed.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 15 at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield followed by burial at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14 at Avance. Memorial donations can be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the American Heart Association.
