Gordon Fouts
July 19, 1923 — September 25, 2009
Age 86 passed away in his sleep at his residence on Friday September 25, 2009. He was born on July 19, 1923 in Hamilton OH and lived in the area most of his life other than his time served in the Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Sylvia (Wainscott) in 1996 and his brother Harold Fouts along with his parents.
Survived by wife Delores (Young) whom he married in May of 2000, his son Steve and wife Debbie, Grand Daughter Mollie (Willie) Bicknell and Great Grand Daughter Makenna all of Franklin, step children - Steve, & Tom Smith and Joyce Thomas all of Fairfield/Hamilton and Ron Smith of Florida and numerous others.
Gordon spent over 30 years at Fisher Body retiring in 1982. He loved hand carving, traveling, fishing and camping - he and his wife Sylvia spent many days on the road traveling across the US.
He will be sadly missed by all.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - until time of service (12 Noon), Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis, OH. Condolences may be offered at www.avancefuneralhome.com
