Age 92, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at the Berkeley Square Retirement Community. Grayce was born in Cincinnati on April 15, 1917, the daughter of Arkee and Bertha (Mullins) Richardson. She grew up on the West Elkton Road family farm with her seven sisters and two brothers. She graduated from Seven Mile High School in 1935. During W.W.II Grayce and four of her sisters worked at the Wright Aeronautical Plant in Evendale. Grayce worked as an executive secretary at the General Electric plant from 1951 until her retirement in 1974. She was a faithful member of the Tri-County Assembly of God Church for many years. Grayce was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister to a loving family that meant everything to her. In 1936, she married Walter G. Willis, and from this union she had two sons. In 1943, she married Dr. Leland Eish, a local dentist who was a devoted husband and step-father until his death in 1972. In 1973, she married Roy E. Pryor, Jr. with whom she shared twenty five wonderful years until his death in 1999. She leaves behind many who loved and admired her; a son, Glenn E. (Pearl) Willis of West Chester; their children, Rachel Barrington and Jason G. Willis of Hamilton; son, Gerald L. (Edna) Willis of Cincinnati; his children, Lora Leigh Watson and Jerry Lee; step-daughter, Patti (Cal) Gabelman of Denver, Colorado; their children, Lisa and Danny; step-son, Roger (Peggy) Pryor of Bayside, California; his children, Rebecca and David; seven great grandchildren; two sisters Marzina (Larry) Asbrook of Floral City, Florida and June (Win) Meyer of Winter Haven, Florida. She was preceded in death by her five sisters, Mary Callahan Hughs, Susie Bryant, Christina Martin Traweek, Ruby Haller and Dorothy Walker; and two brothers, Hugh Richardson and Clifford Richardson.
Visitation will be 10:30am until time of service (11:30am), Thursday, February 11, 2010, at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, with Pastor Hugh Rosenberg presiding over the service. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. The family would like to offer a heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff at Berkeley Square for the loving care and concern for the past nine years of Grayce's life. The family also wants to thank the staff of Vitas Hospice for all their kindness over the past two years.
