Gregory C. Otting, Sr.

Gregory C. Otting, Sr. was born August 12, 1954 and left us far too soon on July 16, 2020.  Greg was born the youngest son of Louis and Loretta (Voll) Otting.  He was a painter by trade for over 40 years and made many friends throughout his career.  He was an avid bowler in leagues over the years and achieved a 300...the perfect game.

Greg Sr.,  leaves to cherish his memory:   his fiancé Delitha Paul; two sons Gregory C. Otting Jr. (Myrna), and Gregory D. Otting (Tina); two daughters Lisa Welch (Joel) and Melissa Neumann (Jesse); and 11 grandchildren, Christian, Marissa, Mason, Natalie, Raymond, Jalen, Logan, Luke, Jacob, Hannah and Aidan and one great grandchild Maddie.  He also leaves a brother, Ronald Otting and sister Lois Shields.  He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Loretta, a sister Joyce and nephew Danny Shields.  Greg was a wonderful man that never met a stranger.  He was quick with smile and happy to give a hug.  He loved karaoke, dancing and the Cincinnati Bengals.  His greatest source of pride, were his children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 5p.m. until a brief service 7 p.m.at  the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, 45014. In lieu of flowers, Greg was a proud member of American Legion Post #138 in Hamilton and donations are suggested there in his memory.  The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com
