Harold W Knox

Died peacefully January 18, 2010, at Hospice of Cincinnati in Hamilton at the age of 89.

A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife of 69 year Florence (nee Reeves); children, Karen (Robert) Hadden, Bruce (Jeannie), and Randy (Sherry) of Tampa, FL; devoted grandfather of 7 grandchildren, Julie (Charles) Hadden Orr, Greg Hadden, Kristy (Jeff) Knox Zboril, Glenn Scott, Karissa Knox, R.J. Knox, and Daniel Knox; and great grandchildren, Jonathan Orr, Jackson Orr, Emilee Knox and Logan Scott.

Mr. Knox worked 42 years at G.A. Gray Machine Tool Company in Cincinnati. He was a WWII Veteran of the United States Army, serving with the 121st Evacuation Hospital Unit, and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was also a member of the Latonia Masonic Lodge and Syrian Shrine.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:30pm, Thursday, January 21, 2010, at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Chapel, 2145 Compton Rd Cincinnati. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, 4310 Cooper Rd Cincinnati 45242.
