Age 80 of Fairfield, passed away on September 4, 2009 at 3:33 a.m., at his residence. He was born on February 7, 1929 in Newport, KY, the son of Harry and Jean (Morford) Lorentz. Harry served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
He leaves behind the love of his life for the last 44 years, Ruth A. Lorentz; 10 children, Michael (Becky) Lorentz of Fairfield, Janet Cox of Dayton, Robert (Edwinna) Buck of Hamilton, Georgia (Ronald) Pickron of Hamilton, Douglas (Stacy) Buck of Waterford, MI, David Buck of Fairfield, Darren (Teri) Lorentz of Fairfield, Tonia (Tony) Barnette of Mason, Tony Lorentz of Amelia, and Randall (Mindy) Pickron of Fairfield; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Charlene Moore of Franklin, KY; 1 special granddaughter-in-law, Leeann Pickron of Hamilton; and many friends whom he met through his love for fishing and bowling. Harry was preceded in death by his parents; and 1 great-grandson, Logan Pickron.
