WITHERSPOON, Harry
Age 67, of Cincinnati passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born February 2, 1940 in Williamsburg, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil "Spoony" & Joey (Byrd) Witherspoon and brother, James Witherspoon. Throughout his twenties, Harry served his country in the U.S. Navy as a Radioman until he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy Reserve in 1968. For over 20 years, he was employed at General Electric, Evendale, first as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, then as an OSHA inspector. He was a member of the Rolling Hills Baptist Church and the American Legion. Harry is survived by his wife, Ann (Book) Witherspoon; sons, Harrison Lee (Sarah) Witherspoon of Reynoldsburg, OH, and Alan Lee Witherspoon of Columbus, OH; brother, Dan Witherspoon; sisters, Susie Grimes and Ethyl Watson. Services are private at the request of the family.
