Hazel Irene (Werner) Miller

Hazel I. (Werner) Miller Age 85 of Millville passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024.  She was born in Franklin County, Indiana on July 10, 1938, daughter of Louis and Louetta Werner.  On June 19, 1956 she married the love of her life Howard (Floyd) Miller.  Hazel and Floyd enjoyed traveling and camping for many years.  Hazel also enjoyed cooking, crocheting, gardening and she loved to bird watch, (especially her beloved hummingbirds).  She is survived by her son James (Jody) Miller, three daughters, Teresa (John) Kappes, Pamela May, and Martha (Ron Strunk) O'Connor.  Grandchildren Brian Kappes, Stephanie (Bryan) Copeland, Kyle (Amy Glancy) Downie, Heather (Ryan) Elmlinger, Chrystie Pridemore, Brittney (Dillon) Layne and Kelly (Keith) Hart. Seven Great Grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren  A devoted and selfless niece Donna Cooper who she adored and her neighbor of 58 years Maxine Rudicil who was always there for Hazel.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Floyd Miller, two brothers and six sisters.  Funeral Service will be held at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, Ohio 45014 on Tuesday June 25, 2024. Visitation is from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm with Funeral following visitation.  Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery, 2289 Millville Ave, Hamilton Ohio 45013.
