Helen H Steele

Helen "Nannie" Steele, 92, formerly of Plainfield, IN, passed away May 6, 2011 in Fairfield. She was born November 26, 1918 in Sullivan, IN to the late Augustus and Bell Hoesman. Helen was employed for several years by the Maplehurst Company, retiring in 1984. She enjoyed nature, birds and flowers and was a great harmonica player. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Steele, brothers Russell Hoesman, Charles Hoesman, Estel Hoesman, Bob Hoesman; sisters Vivian Curtis, Josephine Hubble, and Margaret Hoesman. Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda (Phil) Steckley of Lakewood, CO, Ronald (Karyle) Steele of Tuscon, AZ and Rodney (Laurie) Steele of Fairfield; grandchildren Jennifer Steckley-Kenney, Laura Steckley, and Hayden Steele.
