Herbert L. Allen
March 24, 1928 — September 3, 2007
Age 79 of Fairfield passed away, Monday, September 3, 2007 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born March 24, 1928 in Jeffersonville, KY, the son of Clayton and Nora (King) Allen. On August 28, 1954 he married Beverly Hutzel in Indiana. Herbert served his country during the Korean Conflict in the US Army. He was the owner of Wayne Flooring of Lockland for 40 years until his retirement.
Herbert is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Beverly Allen; loving sons, Greg (Chris) Allen, Tom (Debby) Allen, and Jeff (Kim) Allen; grandchildren, Laura, Beth, Julie, Trevor, Brandon, Kaylee, Brady, and Bryce; sister, Donna Wilkins; and brother, Paul Allen. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary and Bonnie; and brother, Jessie.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. - until time of service, (7 p.m.), Friday, September 7, 2007 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield.
