Hobert Baldwin

July 12, 1918 — June 17, 2008

Age 89 of Hamilton passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Tri-County Extended Care, in Fairfield. He was born July 12, 2008 in Annville, Kentucky, the son of Henry and Linda (Abrahm) Baldwin. He was a member of the U.S. Army with the rank of Master Sergeant. Hobert was a Kentucky Colonel for over 10 years. Hobert retired from Fisher Body in 1981 after 30 years. He enjoyed growing roses in the back yard of his Dayton Street home.

Hobert is survived by his son, Fred (Margaret) Baldwin; grandsons, Shane and Russ Baldwin; sister, Edna Evans, of Fairfield; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, June (House) Baldwin; parents; sisters, Flow Baldwin, and Ruby (Jack) Medlock; brothers, Dewey, Don, Raleigh, and Clarence Baldwin; and brother-in-law, Phillip Evans.

Visitation will be 11am until time of service (12 noon), Monday June 23, 2008, at the Avance Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hamilton, with Pastor Larry Davis officiating. The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com
