Homer Lee Brown, age 91, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton at 4:00 AM on March 27, 2004. He was born on December 12, 1912 in Rouleau, Saskatchewan, Canada, the son of Woodson and Martha (Roberts) Brown. He married Alice E. Snyder in Regina, Saskatchewan on May 4, 1939. The family moved to Hamilton, Ohio in 1951. He was a machinist and programmer, and retired from Escher Weiss, Inc. in Middletown in 1983.
Homer is survived by his wife, Alice Brown, Fairfield; one daughter, Debbie Pierson and her husband Joe, Fairfield; one grandson, Ken Parsons, Fairfield; three grand-daughters, Valerie Ferrell and her husband Danny, Fairfield; Elizabeth Brinkman, Fairfield; LeeAnn Ramirez and her husband Antonio, Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Olivia Ferrell, David Brinkman III, , and Raechel, Lauren, Heather and Joey Schulte. He was preceded in death by three sons, Paul Brown and David Brown in 2001, Ken
Brown in 2002, and daughter, Judy Parsons, in 2003.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday March 30, 2004 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Rev. Joseph Edington officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will also be Tuesday from 10 a.m. - until time of service at the funeral home.
