Howard Lee Sr., age 83, of Fairfield passed away on March 2, 2017. He was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky on December 8, 1933 to Thurney and Cordie Harper.
On September 14, 1956 he married Betty New, she survives him. Howard is also survived by his children, Howard Lee (Becky) Harper Jr. and Jennifer (Bryan) Thacker; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 7 siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeffrey Daniel Harper, and 4 siblings.
Visitation will be Monday March 6, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2630 Hamilton Mason Rd., Hamilton, 45011. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Cecil Day officiating. Condolences may be offered at www.avancefuneralhome.com
