Ida Louise (nee Chapman), age 85, passed away on September 27, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Meeker Jr.; devoted mother of Deborah Sue Gabbard, and the late Sharon Kay Connaughton; loving grandmother of Shane Gabbard, Scott Connaughton, and Beth Pope; great grandmother of Clinton Gabbard and Ashland Vandiver. She is also survived by her son in law William Connaughton and her dear lifelong friend Bobbie Helfrey. She is preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, 3 sisters, and her great granddaughter Caylan. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
