Age 86, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Hingsbergen) Oberrecht died Saturday, May 2 after a brief illness. She grew up on her parent's truck farm, graduated from Reily School, and worked most of her adult life until retirement at Champion Paper and Fiber on the sorting line. She was very active in the choir and parish council at Saint Mary Church, Oxford and a loyal parishioner of St. Peter Church in Hamilton in later years. She was preceded in death by her sisters Rita Allspach and Rosina Tharp and her brother Adrian Oberrecht. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter Church, on the corner of Ridgelawn and Liberty in Hamilton, Thursday, May 7, 2009, at 10:30am with visitation in the Narthex of the Church from 9:30am to 10:30am prior to the service. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery in Hamilton. Avance Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
