Ioana Pondy

Ioana Pondy, age 86 of Fairfield OH, passed away on November 14, 2022. She was born in Sapwuahfik, FSM on January 7, 1936 to her late father, Loren Pondy and late mother, Ines Nayor Pondy as the only daughter and only sister of her late brothers, Lorens, Loriano, and Idaro Pondy. Married to the late Ionis Nelper, she was first a mother to Ioakim Nelper, her eldest son who preceded her in death in his early adulthood.  Ioana is survived by her daughters; Ioakina Nelper of Middletown, Ioanita and Robert Agbo of Pohnpei, Katharina Penias of Fairfield, Sisirina and Fred Louis of Pohnpei, Patty and Shawn Fox of Fairfield and her sons; Ioakino and Joseph Nelper of Pohnpei and all of her forty four grandchildren in both Pohnpei and the USA.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory 4976 Winton Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014, United States.
