GAMMON
Irene M., age 84, a resident of Hamilton passed away Sunday, April 14 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born October 2, 1928 in Bulls Gap, TN the daughter of William and Anna Mae Moore. She was married on February 12, 1950 in Greenville, TN to Jack R. Gammon.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jack; her parents; and brother William D. Moore. Irene is survived by niece Sheila Wissman-Reiterman (Gary); god child and great niece, Nicole Wissman (Belle and Maggie); god child and great nephew, Jonathan (Jackie) Wissman (Max and Andrew). She is also survived by many dear friends.
She was Past Worthy Matron Washington #195 Ohio Eastern Star and Past President Ladies' Auxiliary Hamilton Commandery.
Irene regularly attended Redeemer Church and was active in the Confetti Club and Go-Getters.
She retired from the Ohio Casualty Company.
Visitation will be held 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17 at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014. Eastern Star services will begin at 11, followed by a service given by Rev. Dr. Kim Katterheinrich. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
