Irene Halcomb

HALCOMB,

Irene age 70 of Fairfield passed away March 5, 2018 in Florence, KY.  She was born December 24, 1947 in Letcher Co., KY, the daughter of Lawrence and Ophia (Ingram) Cornett.  Irene was married to Thomas Halcomb until his death on May 20, 2015.  She worked for Procter & Gamble until her retirement.  Mamaw enjoyed nothing more than being around her family, cooking, spending time in her garden and vacationing on a beach.

She is survived by her children, Deborah (Chris) Boldt and Mike (Rhonda) Halcomb; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.  Irene was preceded in death by her parents; and husband.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, Ohio Chapter.  The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com
