Irvina "Dollie" May Gallihugh

Irvina May “Dollie” Gallihugh Born August 9, 1942  ~  Died June 6, 2022 Dollie Gallihugh was born on August 9, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland to James and Ella Sullivan. She married Ben Gallihugh on July 11, 1964 in Tokyo, Japan. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Those who knew her thought her to be a loving and devoted friend with a great sense of humor. She was generous with her time and her affection and was always there for a friend in need. Dollie spent most of her working years as an associate, then manager in fine Jewelry. She worked at McAlpins and Elder Beerman department stores. She later worked as a companion to senior citizens. Dollie is survived by her loving husband Ben, her daughter Jennifer (Raymond) Craig, her son Matthew Gallihugh, her grandchildren: Sarah, Luna (Natalie), Calob, Brennan, Ashlynn, Caden and Noah, her great-grandchildren: Norah, Zander, Natas, Lorelai and Oziah (deceased), her sister Phyllis Morris, and her nieces Meghan (Dan) Carpenter and Melanie (Angie) Morris. A celebration of life will be held on June 18th at 1pm at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 4601 Fairfield Avenue, Fairfield, Ohio. Pastor Scott Swelbar of Community Christian Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Animal Friends Humane Society or Hospice of Cincinnati.
