MITCHELL, Iva E.
Age 96 of Fairfield passed away, Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born May 14, 1919 in Grant Co., KY, the daughter of Riley and Nola (Colsen) Stamper. On February 11, 1939 Iva married Oscar Mitchell in Mason, KY. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Finneytown and the Washington Chapter No. 195, O.E.S. in Hamilton.
Iva leaves behind her loving children, Ralph Edward (Alma) Mitchell and JoAnne (Don) Back; sister Thelma (Jim) Randall; 6 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son Charles Emerson Mitchell.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Pastors Lynn Gordon and Ron Pittman officiating.
