MADDOX
Jack C., age 86 of Hamilton passed away on January 13, 2013 at Ft. Hamilton Hughes Hospital. He was born to William T. and Iva D. (nee Davis) in Owen County KY on August 31, 1926. Jack is the beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Miller); dear brother of Marcia Ross of Louisville, KY; much loved uncle of Terrell (Nancy) Ross of Charlestown, IN.
Jack served in the Army during WWII and was given the Asiatic Pacific Ribbon, Victory Medal, and Army of Occupation Medal. After his service to his country he worked for American Aggregate until his retirement in 1991. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hamilton. Visitation will be Wednesday January 16, 2013 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Dennis Metzger and Rev. William C. Brantingham officiating. Burial will be Thursday at 12 p.m. at the IOOF Cemetery, 912 Seminary St., Carrollton, KY 41008.
