Jack Scherzinger

Jack James Scherzinger Age 85, of Fairfield, OH, passed away quietly in the comfort of his home Sunday 17, 2014. He was born in Hamilton, OH on August 16, 1928 to the late John Anthony and Virginia Pearl (Hall) Scherzinger. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1947. On June 16, 1948 he married Ella Mae Edwards. Jack worked at Mosler Safe Company for 42 years, retiring in 1991. He enjoyed playing on the company bowling, horseshoe and golf leagues, collecting several trophies. Jack loved to travel with his wife and family and enjoyed playing cards, reading, walking and bike riding. Jack was a quiet and easy going man and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his children: Cynthia, Gregory Kent and Lisa Gaye Scherzinger; granchildren: Charlene Marie (Robert) Hundley and Vincent Michael Scherzinger; great grandchildren: Robert Marion and Nathanael Kent Hundley; sisters: Anna Lou Ondreyko, Aloma Pearl (Ralph) Bitel, Rose Mary Shanie, Marie (Joseph) Hoops, Virginia (Estel) McGhee and brother Huston Johnson. He was preceeded in death by his wife, two sons: Steven Scott and Keith Michael Scherzinger and brothers: Robert John and Joseph Eugene Scherzinger. A graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery on August 20, 2014 at 10am with Galen Hoffman officiating. Special thanks to Vitas Hospice for making a difficult time easier.
