James Brent Clapper

James Brent Clapper age 80 of Hamilton, OH went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 17, 2025. He was born October 12, 1945, to Lyman M. and Lila (McGowan) Clapper. He graduated from Garfield High School class of 1964 and went on to join the United States Army. He has one son Shawn Clapper. He is survived by his son Shawn (Mandy) Clapper, grandchild Shila Clapper, sisters Joyce (Jan) Reid and Lisa (Tracy) Chaney and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Jan. Visitation will be Friday January 9, 2026, from 5:00pm until the time of service (6:00pm) at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014.
