James Edward, age 70 of West Chester passed away at VA Medical Center on May 11, 2013. He is the beloved husband of Bertha "Bert" Halas. Jim is also survived by his children, Shanna (Kirk) Hendren, Jamie Halas, Mark (Natasha North) Halas, Robbie Sellers, Shonda Jones, and Tara Sellers; grandchildren, Kirstin, Zane, Cade, Brianna, Leah, and Faith; brothers, Paul and Mark Halas; sister, Jean Halas; brothers in law, Robert and Larry Rouse; and sister in law Angie Edwards.
Visitation will be Wednesday May 22, 2013 from 10-11 a.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Condolences may be given at www.avancefuneralhome.com
