James Edward – age 82 of Fairfield, in the presence of Fr. Kyle and loving family members, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. James was born November 18, 1931 in Brookville, IN to the late Andrew and Adeline Lorenz. James was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Air Force. On June 2, 1962 James married his wife Patricia Lorenz (nee Perry). James was a treasured husband and best friend to Patricia for 52 years; Beloved father to Jim II (Caroline) Lorenz, Karen Newkirk, Joanne (Frank) Bodie, Susan (Mark) Gamble and Donna (Jimmy) Quick; Adored Gramps and Grampa to Allie (Pat) Bayer, Ellery, AJ, Jacob, Michael, Sean, Logan, Megan, Jauton ( Jeremy) Bender and Billie Jo; Dear Great Grandpa to Mason and Gavin. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Paul Lorenz.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10AM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 12191 Mill Rd., Cinti 45240 with Father Kyle Schnippel officiating.
