Age 65 of Fairfield, OH, formerly of Indiana passed away in Fairfield, OH on October 23, 2012. Jim was born November 29, 1946 in Marion, IN, the son of Homer and Thelma (nee Andrews) Miller. In 1966 he married Susan K. Gruesbeck in Roanoke, IN. Jim worked in the retail industry and was respected by all who knew him. He was a member of the St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Fairfield, OH.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Susan K. Miller of Fairfield; dedicated son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Juli of New Castle, DE; beloved grandchildren, Hayley, Juwan and Jaden; devoted mother, Thelma Miller; sister, Peggy Morrison in Warren, IN; and brother, Toby in Auburn, IN. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Homer Miller; and infant son.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. - until time of service (3 p.m.), Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Burial with graveside services will be 1 p.m., Monday, October 29 at the Glenwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Roanoke, IN. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
