James Edward Walsh

  James Edward Walsh, age 86 of Cincinnati, passed away on Monday, April 07, 2014.  James was born November 9, 1927 James served in the Navy during WWII in the South Pacific.  On August 11, 1951 in Cincinnati, OH he married his wife, Mary Rose Walsh (nee Steiner).  James leaves behind his gift of strong integrity.  He battled Colon/Liver cancer for 6 years.  He was an awesome husband and father. We were blessed to have him in our lives.  James is survived by his wife of 62 years, his children Mary Anne Fry, James (Lisa) Walsh, Tara (Gary) Wanstrath and Lisa (Rick) Bernecker; his grandchildren Stephen,  Erica, Ashley, Jason, Kevin, Travis, Jaclyn, Katlyn and 5 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will follow at the Bernecker’s Residence, 10486 Deer Trail Dr, Harrison 45030.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Cincinnati.  Online condolences may be left for the family at  www.avancefuneralhome.com
