James P. Williamson Jr.

James P. Williamson Jr. of West Chester, OH went home to be with the lord Wednesday July 20,2022. Born January 31, 1938, to the late James P. and Mary L. (nee Cooney) Williamson. Jim was a graduate of St. Xavier High School. After high school, Jim attended Xavier University and enlisted in the Army Reserves. After the Reserves, Jim started his lifelong career at Western Southern. Jim enjoyed life after retirement in Port Charlotte, Fl.  Jim was an avid lover of sports, especially the NFL. Jim was a quiet man, who had a generous way about him. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones.  He is preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Gail (nee Williamson) Hedge and Harry O Hedge. Jim is survived by his nephew, Toby (Lynn) Williamson of Hamilton, OH. His great-nephew and nieces, Eric (Jana) Davis of Hamilton, OH, Kelly (Troy) Phillips of Charleston, SC, and Lisa (Derek) Collins of Hamilton, OH. As well, as several great-great nieces and nephews and Jim’s favorite caregiver Summer Nickell. Visitation followed by Mass of Christian Burial will start at 10:00 am Tuesday July 26, 2022 at Queen Of Peace Church, 2550 Millville Ave, Hamilton, OH with Fr.
