James "Jim" Penny

James Richard Penny "Jim" beloved husband of Rita (Mays) Penny for 52 years, dear father of Crystal (Butch) Parks of West Chester, Randall (Dawnalyn), Robert (Joan) all of Cincinnati, and Sandra (Titus) Pel of Manila, Philippines, died at Hospice of Hamilton on April 4, 2006, at the age of 72. A sister, June Miller, of Mt Orab, Ohio, also survives him. He leaves 11 grandchildren: Tiffany, Wende, Amber, Jamie Lynn, Courtney, Jenna, Randi Ellen, Jessie, J.T., Jeshua and Marisa, and 6 great-grandchildren: Logan, Sage, Jacob, Nicholas, Campbell and Kent. He was preceded in death by his parents, Langdon and Daisy (Neal) Penny both of Mt. Orab, Ohio.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 7th, from 6-8 P.M. at the Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, Ohio, 45014. Funeral services will be held at The Northern Hills Christian Church, 9470 Winton Road, on Saturday April 8th with a viewing beginning at 12:00 and the Funeral starting at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be at the Mt. Orab Cemetery in Mt. Orab, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Open Door Mission c/o Northern Hills Christian Church or Hospice of Cincinnati. Also, the family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com.
