James "Jimmy" M. Vance

VANCE, James Michael

Age 45, born January 26, 1980, came to be with our Savior on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Jimmy was a graduate of Fairfield High School class of 1998. He worked as a Mason city schools bus driver, a job he deeply loved. Jimmy enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with his children. His bright colored Hawaiian shirts and contagious laugh could light up any room. He is survived by his parents, Jim and Linda Vance, his aunt Linda Fenzel, his aunt and uncle Bill and Bev Leger, his fiancé Valerie Fischer, his children Aspyn and Ace Vance and their half-brothers Tyler and Luke Fischer. He was a proud father and dear friend to many.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. – until Mass of Christian Burial (11 a.m.), Monday, March 24, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield with Father Larry Tharp, Celebrant.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 1602 Greenwood Avenue, Hamilton Ohio 45011.  www.avancefuneralhome.com
