Bishop Janet Irene, age 68, of Fairfield passed away on December 25, 2015 at Mercy Fairfield. She is the beloved wife of Jerry Amos; loving mother of Edith (Frank) Rye and Kathleen Burkhart; dear grandmother of Rebecca, Zachary, and Benjamin Rye and James Burkhart. She is also survived by numerous siblings and friends. Janet is preceded in death by her first husband, Abel Bishop; parents, Robert and Dorothy Reynolds; and a brother.
