CAMPBELL Janet Jacqueline, age 83, of Fairfield passed away on December 31, 2016 at Tri County Extended Care. She was born on April 18, 1933 in Hamilton to the late Lee and Bertha Rose.
Janet married Kenneth “Gene” Campbell on June 26, 1954; he preceded her in death on October 31, 1997.
Janet is survived by her children, Rose (Roger) Bush, Jay (Sue) Campbell, Lee (Mary Lynne) Campbell, and Kenny (Jo) Campbell; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 3 brothers.
Janet was employed by the Fairfield City Schools as a bus driver until her retirement in 1999; an avid NASCAR fan; and a life long member of Community Christian Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 4, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, 45014. Funeral service will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.avancefuneralhome.com
