Janet Spence

November 25, 1924 — January 17, 2010

Age 85 of Fairfield, passed Sunday, January 17, 2010, at Tri Counry Extended Care. She was born November 25, 1924, in Rushville, Indiana the daughter of James and Mable Warth. Janet was raised in Hamilton by a great uncle and aunt, James and Sally Hutchison. She was educated in Hamilton schools. In 1942 she married Donald Spence. Janet was active for 35 years in the VFW Chuck Cain Auxiliary #7670. She worked at Top Hat Dry Cleaners for 18 years. She was baptized at Laurel Avenue Church of Christ.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Spence in 1981; two sons, David Spence in 1965, and Donald S. Spence in 1990; and brother, James Robert Warth. She is survived by her brother, Richard Paul Warth of Dunedin, FL; and friends, Angela King, Scott King, Larry King, Peggy Robinson, Jean Henderson, and Paul Grabel.

Visitation will be 1:30pm until time of service (2pm), Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at the Greenwood Cemetery Chapel with Jason Noel, Chaplain of Evercare Hospice officiating. Contributions may be made to Evercare Hospice 9050 Centre Point Dr. Suite 400, West Chester, Ohio 45069.

1:30 - 2pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Greenwood Cemetery Chapel
