Jeanette Gillis

Jeanette Gillis of Fairfield, Ohio, wife of Rev. Don W. Gillis, passed away peacefully Monday, July 29, 2024, at the age of 90 after a long illness. Jeanette was born in Boulder, Colorado and was raised in Lexington, Kentucky.  She worked for some time as a pediatric nurse with American Nursing Care and was very involved in home and church work in southwestern Ohio.  Jeanette is survived by son Tim (Carol) and grandson Brian Gillis, daughter Lois Gillis Brown, Rachel Brown LaMotte (MacKenzie), and by her sister Elaine Galloway Adams.  She is predeceased by her husband Don, and her granddaughter Carissa Gillis.  A graveside service will be held for family in Lexington, Kentucky.
