Jeanne L. Schardine

SCHARDINE

Jeanne L., age 80, of Fairfield, passed May 2, 2012 at Maple Knoll Village. She was born to March 13, 1932 to Raymond and Viola (nee Grinkemeyer) Lange. Jeanne was a member of Sacred Heart Church and also was a charter member and past President of the Four Season Garden Club; she was a volunteer aquatic exercise instructor at Fairfield YMCA; she also enjoyed volunteering for many other Fairfield organizations. In 1996 Jeanne received the Fairfield YMCA volunteer of the year award. She was an avid tennis and bridge player. Jeanne enjoyed taking care of her large family.

On October 15, 1955 Jeanne was united in marriage to Charles L. Schardine, who preceded her in death November 4, 2011. To this union five children were born; Chris Reynolds, Nancy Schardine, Mary (Steve) Doerger, James (Nancy) Schardine, and Mark (Ariane) Schardine; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters; Katie Keller, Sue Griner, and Dorothy Bachman.

Visitation will be Sunday May 6, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
