In Loving Memory of Jeffrey Albright

Jeffrey Albright of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away on August 24, 2026. Jeff was born on January 28, 1955, in Hamilton, Ohio.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton Albright and Lois Hake, as well as by many other family members and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Albright; his daughters, Becky (Rick) Marshall and Jessica (David) Jeffries; his grandchildren, Avery Warren, Bryce and Emery Jeffries; and many beloved cousins and extended family members.

Music was a lifelong part of Jeff’s soul. He taught himself to play guitar as a child and, as those who knew him would say, he never really put it down. His love of music took him across the United States, where he traveled and performed with various bands. Fittingly, it was while Jeff was on stage performing that he met Judy – the woman who would become his wife and his life partner.

Jeff’s love of music was matched only by his love for the people around him. We can only imagine that he and his best friend, Mike Mitchell, are together again, guitars in hand, enjoying the greatest jam session heaven has ever heard.

Jeff was also a true handyman. There seemed to be very little that he couldn’t fix or create, whether it involved electrical work, refinishing furniture, painting, or any number of projects. And when Jeff did something, he did it right. He took pride in his work, and if Jeff was the one who fixed it, you were guaranteed that it would be perfect.

During baseball season, you could often find Jeff at Bryce’s games, concession-stand hotdog in hand, proudly watching his grandson play. And Emery had her grandpa wrapped firmly around her finger. The two of them loved sitting together in his chair, sharing chips and candy, and making memories that will be treasured forever. Avery and Jeff were just beginning to get to know each other, and Avery was quickly discovering what the rest of the family already knew – that Grandpa Jeff was a pretty cool guy.

Jeff will be remembered for his music, his talented hands, his generous spirit, his devotion to his family, and the countless memories he created along the way. He leaves behind a lifetime of stories, songs, laughter, and love that will continue to live on in all who knew him.

Rest easy, Jeff. May your guitar always be in tune, your chair always be comfortable, and may you and Mike be playing one incredible song together again.
