Jerry M. Courtney age 67 of Fairfield passed away Tuesday November 1, 2005 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born March 11, 1938 in Caney, KS, the son of Charles and Nellie (Williams) Courtney. On August 3, 1963 he married Kristine Gutknecht in Fostoria, OH. Jerry was a member of the Masonic Lodge and owned and operated Fairfield Taxi.
He is survived by his wife, Kristine Courtney; children, Anne Courtney of Columbus, OH, Susan (Nabarun) Kundu of Copley, OH and Jason Courtney also of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Jane, Jacob and William Kundu; brother, Donald Courtney of Findlay, OH; and sister, Pamela Beckman of Dalton, GA. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Darrell Courtney of Fairfield, OH; and sister Betty Swick of Findlay, OH.
