Jimmie R. Hinkle, age 59, of North Port, FL formerly of Marion, IN passed away at his residence on April 7, 2004. He was born April 1, 1945 in Cincinnati, the son of Larkin and Ruby (Spurlock) Hinkle and he married Barbara Hamilton in Covington, KY. He worked for General Motors-Fisher Body as a Die Welder.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hinkle; son, Brian Hinkle; mother, Ruby (nee Spurlock) (Hugh) Mathis; brother, Billy Ray Hinkle; and grandchildren, Renee and Angela Hinkle. He was preceded in death by his father, Larkin Hinkle.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday April 15, 2004 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Pastor Timothy Kufeldt officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Wednesday (today) at the funeral home.
